Hello!
I've had a Logitech G700 for about ten years. Love the mouse. Now it's starting to not hold down on the right mouse button very well, which is rubbish when you're trying to snipe in games.
I'm thinking of maybe taking it apart and installing a new switch, but also looking at a new mouse. I like the form factor of the Logitech MX Master 2 (it's close to the G700) but I also hear it's "Not good for gaming". As a noob I thought these might be much of a muchness and look at "gaming" mice with a little scepticism. I did consider the G502 Lightspeed but I'm not sure on that one - looks a bit minging and I'm not a fan of all the bright lights and other rubbish. Do I really need all this hyper DPI, button latency etc? I'd have thought the broadband latency would be a bigger issue tbh!
Ideally the mouse should be wireless with the option to go wired if I need to charge whilst playing. I like the thumb support of both models. I mostly do productivity on my PC and play FPSs when I'm not working (mostly Fortnite and DayZ at the moment).
Happy to consider other brands other than Logitech (I'm hearing the newer build quality isn't what it once was).
Thanks!
