Need a New Mousemat

Hey all

I’ve got a Razer Copperhead with a Func1030 which I’ve had for about two and a half years. The Func is starting to wear out though, it’s reasonably scratched and lost its texture in the middle part. So I’m looking for a new mat – something nice and smooth preferably. I was thinking of the Razer Exactmat but then I saw that they brought out the Destructor not too long ago. Both seem to get excellent reviews so I’m not too sure which to go for. Does anyone have any experiences of these or other mats?

Also, the feet on my Copperhead are a bit worn as well. I’m thinking of either getting some Everglide MouseGlidez or the Razer Pro Tools kit as this includes a replacement set of feet. Has anyone replaced the feet on their Copperhead?

Thanks

Use the SEARCH with my Nick+mousepad or such and you will see whats IMO the best feet and best Pad.

Also some kind peep here did a review on the Pad.

I would suggest one of the S&S Steel Series cloth mats, the main reason your feet will wear out is if your using one of the glass or plastic mats.

Have had my g9 and the S&S mat since it came out and the feet are still like new on it lol. And i play wow and bf2 near enough every night for a good couple of hours.

I did a search before posting but I couldn't find anything on the destructor. Those feet you recommended look interesting though, and they're nice and cheap.

Thanks, I'll have a look at them the S&S mats.

Anyone have any experience of the Razer Destructor?

A vote for the Everglide TITAN here, had that for 3 years and been gaming on it and it's still in mint condition, no wearing surface.

Allsops Bubble or water splash or whatever they call it, Superior feel with Just the right amount of friction to make the sensation translate up your arm to give uber accurate pointing/killing.

I'm leaning towards either an Exactmat or an Everglide TITAN at the moment. For some reason I think I'd prefer the Razer, I like the idea of a metal mousemat :D
