Need A New PAYG Mobile

Got a Motorola Razor 3 at the moment but it's a bit buggered so I need a new phone. Don't really know a lot about phones so need some help in choosing a new one. I currently have a sim card from virgin mobile so I need to keep that. Phone-wise I don't need an all singin-all dancing phone. Just one to make calls and take a picture now and again and (being a Yorkshireman) it's got to be relatively cheap.

One other thing, how does this unlocking thing work? Would I still keep my phone number and top up with virgin?

If you want a cheap phone,try picking up a 2nd hand K800i.

Excellent phone,had mine 2 years and could not say one bad thing about it.

As for unlocking what do you mean? Unlocking it to all networks? yes you will keep your same number and top up exactly the same,you just get the advantage of putting any network sim in the phone

1+ for k800i (non flash) the u has flash, and that is only for japan

I had one for over a year still works I don't trust it no more batt is meant

Nokia 6300 is a decent cheap ish fone that is solid

Picked up a k800i in mint condition after recommendations here and chuffed with it so far. Can anyone recommend me a protective case for it so I don't scratch the screen?

well I threw mine and the screen was only scuffed :eek:

reason why I won't use it is because of its bent battery

mine was in mint condition till I did that

and I had no case for it at all, well I did but it was a load of crap and I broke it. it does protect the screen.

i had a clear plastic case, be carefull when you put it on as its tight and you may well break it
