Hi

I'm looking for a 2.1/more speaker setup for my PC. It has a Asus Xonar STX soundcard and right now I am running it with a Philips Fidelio X1, coupled with my QED Performance J2J - so I definetly know what good sound is like :)

What recommendations do you guys have? I just want it to be under £150 (really the most I can afford) and to be long-lasting.
Prefer companies with good warranties - so don't mind purchasing a second hand corsair sp2500 because they would (likely) still have warranty.

I mainly play war thunder, battlefield, pretty much anything really, COH, etc.. but sound wise I just want the battlefield to sound surreal.

I've heard great things about Microlabs range, and even more about Corsair. FC360, FC330, SP2500, Solo6C/7/8/9c? Any ideas

Patience not a strong point? :)

If it's for gaming save up the other £25 and get the Corsair SP2500

If it's for music, forget 2.1 and get the Microlab Solo 8C or 9C

Hmm... nope patience is not a strong point - did not bump post for that reason specifically though, just bumped because it was going down the threads list.

Its not the fact I would be saving up another 175, I have around 200 available for speaker system but I just dont want to spend 170 and then feel like it wasn't worth 170. when your a poor student.... :P

mainly for gaming as music use headphones

want some thumpers? go for the Logitech z906,they will blow your house down

something on a budget id pick the logitach z506's,still decent sound and strong bass

I have some Logitech z523s on my gaming PC atm. They are ok, good bass. The treble just seems a bit off though. Looking back I wish I'd spent a bit more and got something better :)
