I need a new pc for general gaming and playing films. I don't need a hardrive or graphics card because i already have them. graphics card is a radeon x1950pro iceq. My budget is little over £400 Thanks Ethan

Perhaps, but £35 worth better? You could get a tuniq for that, and go nuts on that CPU

True, though 2.8 to 3 on stock cooling is pretty good anyway. I'm not sure we should get into this debate now, really.

ok i don't need the dvd rewriter and the graphics card uses 450w so are the power supplys compatiable and yes its pci-e. is the cpu overclockable and if so what would u reccomend

400 or so watts is fine for the 1950 PRO. Both PSUs mentioned have enough Amps @ 12V to run it.

As already stated, you can get 2.8 out of the e4300 on stock cooling. If you really do want an after market cooler, though, look at the Scythe Ninja.
