Need a new quiet psu

Hi all

I currently hope to switch to a pci rig but need a new psu. Locally i can get a Thermal Take 750W ToughPower PSU which would save me a right few pennies on postage, having had a psu blow before and got stung for the delivery and return postage Im not getting caught like that again.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of the mentioned psu and if so was it quiet and reliable

What system are you running? You're unlikely to need anywhere near 750W, especially on an AGP system (which I think you're on...).

I'd say a Corsair HX520W would almost certainly be fine for now and any upgrades you make over the next few years.

Going to change to pci but the problem is what psu i can get locally
