My TP-Link WR1043ND is driving me mad, I'm on 50mb Virgin media and I upgraded from the D-Link DIR-615 Router they gave me to this current one for the Gigabit ports but the Wi-Fi signal is very hit and miss :(

Sometimes i get a good strong Wi-Fi signal across all my devices (iPhone, Laptop, Wii and Android phone) other times it's just so slow it's unusable even though devices display full signal although the wired side of things never skip a beat

So after much googling and faffing about with settings I'm giving in and buying a new Router. I need a gigabit Wireless N and possibly dual band but above all else stable Router. Can anyone suggest such a beast for around £100? obviously the cheaper the better :)

Thanks but not all reviews are possotive about that router intact I have yet to find a router that is recommended across the board like the old Linksys 54G was. I'm wondering if buying I gigabit switch and reinstating my old DIR-615 might be an option.

The 615 from memory had a weak signal but it was constant and reliable.

Thanks surge your right you do get what you pay for, I've learnt that lesson!

Duke - Think i'm going to order another TP-Link GB switch (Have 2 already and they're great) and use my old D-Link as it's Wireless N and a propper make. See how that pans out :)
