Need a new screen

Recently my monitor broke and I am now looking for a new one. I have a gtx 670, and I would like to have a monitor that is at least 27' as I am used to a 28' one. I have a budget of £500 but it does not need to be near that price.

With 'only' a 670 it's going to be 1080p at most. Even an Ultra Wide (I have one, they're awesome!) or 1440p screen is going to need more power than the 670 can provide.

You could go for something like this but it's pre order.

What about this and this for slightly over budget but get bigger screen AND new graphics card? Admittedly it's Ultra wide so you might miss the vertical size. Plenty of choice at 1080p and 27" though.

Just wondering if everyone else agrees with MissChief before I go on with the purchase. Also what is the difference between that 970 and the more expensive 970's and finally could the 970 be used in SLI with my 670.

This is my current graphics card and motherboard exactly:
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H Intel Z77 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard

My power supply is 750W, I can also list then rest of my system components if you want.

*Nevermind I just found out you cant SLI different cards.
