My aging Dell U2412M appears to be on the way out. On occasion when I turn it on, around the middle of the screen, left side (it's in portrait mode) I am seeing what looks like a shadow cast across the screen. If I turn it on/off a few times it goes away but it would appear the backlight is on the way out?
I have a AW3423DW as my primary with the U2412M as my secondary in portrait mode. I primarily use it to display my personal desktop whilst I am at work and for playing twitch/youtube/netflix on in my own time. As well as browsing the web, nothing too fancy. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a reasonably priced second screen? I am looking for something ideally <£300. I have been looking at a few Dell screens, SE2723DS, S2721DS and U2520D but it appears these are Freesync and not compatible so I may have issues with my Nvidia graphics card?
I am not sure why I am a little hung up on a 2560*1440p screen considering my use case, I think a 1080p would be just fine.
