Hi guys, I'm currently using a 32inch TV on 1080p and while it's ok I want to upgrade to something 4k .
Any recommendations for 32inch monitors available.
Seen these 2

Any good?
Also would a 4k TV work the same way?
Apparently another place have one for sale at 55 inch I think for 350 quid
Not sure I want to go any smaller then 32 inch.
Also i need a new ssd as I'm currently running a Samsung evo 750 250gb and with the operating system on it and x plane its only got about 10gb left so cant add anything to x plane.
Been looking at this

It seems it's on a competitors website for 119 at the moment so just wanted to know if anyone has experience of it and is it easy to swap things over to it?
I've heard Samsung have a tool which transfers everything over. Will it just transfer x plane as I assume the operating system can just remain on the 250gb one ?
Is it worth upgrading to a 2tb?
Also I've currently got 2 other hdds installed.
Can you have 2 ssds and 2hdds?
May look at transferring some of my other smaller steam games onto the 250gb ssd if that's possible and bin the hdd?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Well a certain selling site currently has it for sale for 119 , quite a massive saving to what its normally priced at.
In regards to 4k what's the best approach then?
My PC is quite powerful, 1080ti, 6700k , cant remember the power unit off top of my head.

3840x2160 makes 1080 Ti struggle in heavier games.
Maybe in year or two we start having graphics cards capable to running it more consistently at better frame rates.
Currently 2560x1440 is the sweet spot for gaming.

Not sure how heavy X-Plane is for GPU.

Well I don't downsample on x plane, I leave it at the normal 1080 and it's getting 30fps no problem, i did try putting it to 3840 through dsr, it didn't end too well but also the writing in the game was super small so had to leave it at 1080 to read anything lol.
So do you think getting a 4k TV or monitor is ok but downsampling it to 2560 then?
Can you go down to 1440 or does it need a monitor with that resolution?

30fps isn't much.
GPU capped 60fps @1920x1080 would mean 15fps @3840x2160.
So unless that's CPU capped (GPU running at clearly below full load) 4k has "MCAS effect" to frame rate.

DSR has similar effect by making GPU calculate image at higher resolution. (then downsampling it for monitor resolution)

Unlike CRTs LCDs don't scale at all for other resolutions, which results in some additional blurring over lower resolution. (from upsampling)
That's the price of digitally sharp pixels.
Well, 1920x1080 would scale losslessly to 3840x2160 monitor with pixel doubling, but from 2560x1440 multiplier wouldn't be integer.

Yeah sorry I cap it at 30fps , I'm not sure how I'd get any better frames rates on 4k , I've looked on the x plane forums and theres people with similar setups running 4k so il probably take a punt at a 4k monitor or TV and see how I get on.
