I've been wanting to upgrade my current system for a while, but rather then upgrading, and doing incremental upgrades, I would rather just buy a new PC straight. I need a system with Intel i7 4770k, I've heard that it's a really good CPU, and is better then the i7 3770k. Another question that raises in my head is; is the right time to buy a Intel PC? Maybe they will release the next generation of processors? I want a new entire build completely including monitor, keyboard, but no mouse. I have already purchase a mouse. I also want to overclock is so aftermarket cooler would be nice. My budget is getting this sytem within £1000 Hope you can get me a decent build.

Many thanks.

Haswell is the latest cpu line up from Intel so the 4770k would be a good choice. What is your main use for your pc ? e.g gaming, encoding .

Are you looking for a prebuilt system or will you build it yourself?
If you can reuse some of your existing components ie, hhd, optical drive, this will free up cash that can be spent in other areas to help get a better system.
If you can post your current system spec, we can have a look to see what can be salvaged.

Only problem I have is it most likely has a cooler provided by intel. I want a aftermarket cooler, so that I can overclock at-least 4.4, I would like if it was pre-overlocked, and is there any coupons so I can get discount, and any student discount from overclockers?

Can you build it yourself ?

Yes. I can build the entire build myself, if that makes it cheaper. I would do that. I do not have a problem with that. I usally make upgrades on PC every now and then, CPU upgrades, GPU, RAM, Mobo, ect.... It's not that hard :D
