Ati`s x1900Xtx is the best solely single card out, and very closely followed by the 7900GTX. The 7950 from Nvidia is the fastest double designed card out. Wether you go for Ati or Nvidia is a personal choice. Ati`s X1800XT is the best "value" card for sure.

lols hey no worries dude, its coolies, just the info for the card will be fine, i'll find it, budget increased to £360 lol and im not going to get the GX2's

ok some peoples reommend some 7900's 512mb ones, i wanna compare them to the x1900's 512mb, i wanna know your views because if you own(ed) any of them you would know more because you have used them

Either 7900 GTX, or x1900 XT.

Both on par, advantages of the x1900 is it can do HDR+AA, and is cheaper, but it uses more power, gives out more heat, and is louder than the GTX.

7900 GTX is cooler, uses less power, and is quiet, and you could SLi it with another one at a later date if you wanted to.

If the heat/power issues are no concern then id get the x1900, at those prices. ;)

cant have 2 as my mobo is SLi, was wondering can i watch HDtv kinda stuff using say if i got 7900 or ati x1900?
Ah sorry mate, when you said you've bought the motherboard I thought you meant a Crossfire one.

Yeah you'll be able to have VIVO etc. with both (I think, I know the X1900 has it at least) and view HD video easily.
