My current spec is

Antec900
Asus old drr/singlecore motherboard
1g drr1 ram
8600gt 256gdrr3
Xfi-fatality champian soundcard
Hiper 730w powersupply
3.0 ghz intel 755mhz fsb with hyper threading tech ,,

Now i am going to buy an abit fatality mainboard and a 2g ozc sli ram @ 4-4-4-12 latency running at 800mhz

Will i suffer from a bottleneck?

Every system has something limiting the bandwidth/speed, otherwise everything would run at unlimited speed... so the simple answer is yes.

A more usefull answer to you would be that the RAM is far more than capable at equalling the FSB of the processor, considering intel are quad pumping there processors the FSB of yours is 188.75 (755/2/2), where as the ram your suggesting has a FSB of equivalent too 400mhz.

Go for this RAM instead, better ram and could potentially overclock well if you want to in the future.

Emm well im soon going to upgrade the processor to quad too and get another 8600gt ..so isnt it still worthit to get an sli ram? and one wich is faster

No, to put it simply, the fastest stock processor FSB currently available is 333.25mhz (1333mhz effective).

So the RAM ive pointed out will be plenty fast enougth, the faster RAM is only of use when overclocking really (as it envolves speeding up the FSB), and even then it would be cheaper to OC the RAM ive suggested.

Well, you may find you have a cooler more stable system, but untill you upgrade your processor i dont think youll see substancial difference.

Having said that upgrading from 1gb of ram too 2gb will probably improve performance nicely.
