Need a recommendation for a cheap monitor pls

Hi,

My cousins TFT screen has given up and they have asked me as to what monitor to get.

Now this is the criteria

17" TFT screen
Maximum budget is £150

They probably play a few games on it and go on the internet and do work on it etc.

So what would you lot recommend?

you could get a 19"WS model for that kind of price which might be a nice investment. Something like the Hanns-G HW191D would be a good choice, or perhaps the SAMSUNG 920N if you wanted 4:3 aspect ratio. The extra size is really nice to have and adds to immersion in games and movies certainly.

id go for a 19" 4:3 the screen is actually taller on a 19" 4:3 Than on a 20" widescreen. And 19" widescreen will be almost as short as a 17" but with extra width. Personally id rather have the height
