Hi All,

My Uncle uses Microsoft Outlook and rang me on Sunday to say he received 700 spam messages in one day and I'm going there tonight to take a look.

I'm hoping to use Outlook's built in Junk Mail filter to sort this out.

But incase I can't get this to work, can anyone recommend any other Spam Filters at all?

Thanks.

I personally use popfile - uses heuristics to get all those nasties so it needs a little bit of training initially.

Just set up a rule to put all emails marked with [spam] in the title into the Junk email folder (also I filter by a few more categories)

After 20,000 emails (almost,) it is now 99.6% accurate.

2nd recommendation for PopFile :)

Works great, and like Andre said, after giving it some time to train it, works a treat.

I had been using ZoneAlarm 7.0 which when I installed it, installed a Spamfilter within Outlook. Worked OK, but added to the time for the program to startup, and i'm just too impatient! Started up very fast without it, and using Popfile.
