Need a replacement for Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R

I've got a clr CMOS button which I pressed but not done an overnight removal will try that tonight! Will also speak to gigabyte.

You need to see what boards you can find and get back to us with the model number or something, as they will most likely be 2nd hand now we can suggest a board but you may not be able to find it for sale anywhere.

Hey guys thinking of just biting the bullet and upgrading to a new MB and CPU. I'm open to reccomendations. The board that is being replaced was very good and did the job!

Budget for the cpu+board?

Budget is no issue although don't want to spend a crazy amount.

Most important thing is that I maintain the same performance as before or better. I use the PC for the running of my busines which requires some design work, some web design using dreamwever and fireworks. I remote desktop into several VPS servers in different windows and do a fair bit of gaming. Also need the PC to open and process large CSV files.

I had an i7 920 2.66 GHz in the MB before so looking for something as good or better.

YOUR BASKET
1 x Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell) Socket LGA1150 Processor - Retail £259.99
1 x Gigabyte Z87-D3HP Intel Z87 (Socket 1150) DDR3 ATX Motherboard £106.99
Total : £377.78 (includes shipping : £9.00).

4770K vs 920 - http://www.anandtech.com/bench/product/836?vs=47

The board comes with a free heatsink, if you needed a board that support Crossfire or SLI then you need something else as the D3HP only supports Crossfire at 16X/4X

Are you guys stocking V2 of this board becasue i'm reading some issues regarding USB 3.0 not being recognized after waking from S3 sleep.

V2 apparently addresses this issue but not many places have this board.

Will do. and to answer your question - YES!

If i'm working late and I decide I want to crash or if I need to leave the house suddenly I tend to use sleep a lot.
My recommendation is go with an Asus motherboard. Much, much better bios and (updates) and no problems with sleep. I've used Gigabyte from Z68 through to X79.

Made a forgetful mistake,

The board has Renasas USB Hubs so any of the USB ports running from these don't suffer from sleep issues:)
