"If it ain't broke, don't fix it"
My ISP is upgrading to ADSL2 in a month or 2 so i decided to upgrade the Firmware on my Netgear DG632 modem. Long story short, the classic DG632 problem returned causing it to hang after 10mins if you use p2p software. It simply cant handle it, added to this my ping is all over the place in games even if nothing else is using the internet.
For some reason Netgear in their wisdom made the firmware upgrade permanent, ie i can't downgrade the Firmware. So I'm gonna have to get something new that supports ADSL2 and will connect up to my existing router and just do its job, with out complication. Then i can smash the DG632 to pieces (I will enjoy this)
Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.
