Need a replacement for my G15

Well silly old me, I had a "spillage" incident with my G15 and some beer. Anyway the keyboard now does the most random things so I can only assume that it's broken.

So now I need a replacement as I got it of a well know auction site and Logiteh won't replace it.

Any suggestions? While the G15 is nice, it's a lot of money and quite large. I don't use the macro buttons and the LCD, while nice, didn't really find a use for anything.
 
The saitek eclipse. I got the orginal over the second version as i read a lot of people like it more. I can tell you im not dissapointed! amazing keyboard and it feels good to type on. id get it over the G15 and seens as you dont need the macro keys it seems perfect for you. O and it has better lightign then the G15 lol. the second eclipse has worse lighting, not sure if perhaps the keys are better on the first one as well. I dunno, you may need to ask around.

Also i ahve noticed paint starting to come off though on the keys but only slightly.
 
I`ll second the Eclipse. I have the Eclipse II and its the best keyboard I`ve ever had. I know a lot of people prefer the Eclipse 1 but I`ve never used it so I couldnt say whether it was better or not. I`m more than happy with my board though.
 
i dont know what the eclipse 2 is like or even why people prefer it. I think id of liked the media buttons but o well. Does your paint scratch off? ifnot id go for the eclipse 2
 
G15 v2 (assuming you had the first revision)

It's smaller in width, screen is much better and it has a quality feel to it.

I've had both the v1 and v2.
 
G15 was the first one, with the blue backlight. Already had the Eclipse (which died a death in the same way come to think of it) so would fancy something different.
 
Well the beer went on the keyboard about 2 hours before I noticed any problems so I'm kind of resigned to it being buggered.

I kind of like the old Elonex KB I'm using right now though. Lovely, tap tap tap, really.
 
so after all this youve decided to stick with what you already have? pfft!! but at least you learnt one thing... that you should go down to mother care and get a baby juice mug for your beer. Does mother care still exist? ours had a big talking tree called jenny tree! my first true love... i mean errr...
 
No idea, but honestly, I'm going to strangle myself with the cable from this KB I'm using! I've got an old Logitech PS2 cherry type at home somewhere but I can't find it!
 
I bought a G15 (v2) recently, recieved it 2 days ago, I've never had such a quality keyboard, going to find a replacement any better. Buy another one, go on you know you wanna.
 
But I never used the screen or macro's so it seems I'm spending money on something I don't need!

Then again, I don't "need" a 24" monitor, doesn't stop me appreciating it though!
 
the g15 seems made for those that play wow or just like lots of buttons they dont need. What they dont understand it seems is that they have 12 F keys which can all be used as hot keys. But instead would rather have flashign ones at the side. meh, what ever floats your boat and a little LCD screen which if you were honest you really dont need poping up saying you have mail when you can ahve your pc tell you. And you dont need it saying little chat convos on xfire really, but you convince your self none the less. Meh i should get a G15 because i feel left out lmao.
 
Well I got the G15 rev 2 in the end. Top keyboard. Couple of gripes though:

I miss the jog dial of the original, the volume buttons are a bit pants.

The keyboard doesn't sit as high on the back like the old one, so they keys are flatter.
