Need a router 3gig internet

Straight off the bat your going to need something with a sfp+ pets so you can slot a suitable module in.
Then you need processing power for routing 3gb asking with any other processing.

Or maybe this. Has 2 x 10gbe ports and 2 x 2.5gbe.

Introducing Amazon eero Max 7 tri-band mesh Wi-Fi router | Up to 9.4 Gbps, connect 200+ devices, coverage for up to 232 m², 2023 release https://amzn.eu/d/9BtK97K

For the money it looks really good. Few negatives.

I’d personally build a small pc with dual port 10gb card and opnsense.
I'm eyeing up a Protectli Vault Pro VP2420, only 2.5gbe ports but I can't see me going faster than that for a long time.
Wanted to have ago at a little Pfsense router for a while now.

Dunno if power consumption is a factor to the op. Dunno if those small atom boxes can route 3gbs either

Grab a Lenovo Tiny M720q, you will need a PCI riser (£10 ish from Ali/ebay), a NVME SSD and you can fit in a dual 10Gb Card into it. Opnsense bare metal or Proxmox with Opnsense VM. Power around 18w depending on the model, i did the same and chose this route over the 4/6 port Chinese routers as support is a little rubbish, ie bios updates etc

Whats the hand off for the 3Gb Modem?

you will probably need a 10Gb switch of some sort and also a 10Gb card in your computer to utilise the speed.

3Gb speeds a little tricky, 2.5Gb speeds would have been perfect lol
