need a script to log into a web site and click a link

Hi everyone.

I need a script that I can run from a desktop shortcut that...

opens a web page
enters a username and password
then clicks on a link

This is for use with a IP phone system to automate getting to a contacts list

I have looked around and i'm struggling to adapt any example scripts that I have found

Has anyone got a script laying around to do this?
