Need a second monitor to go with a 16:10 NEC

As above. We've had two NEC LCD203WM's (20.1", 1680x1050 @ 60Hz) and one of them has had an unfortunate accident. We need to replace it but i'm having trouble finding anything that runs 16:10 aspect

I'm pretty clueless when it comes to dual monitors and what needs to match etc.. so what would happen if we just got a standard 16:9 20" monitor? Would they work together?
