It's something I've been meaning to do for a while so I thought I'd ask the knowledgeable folk here as I know virtually nothing!

I want a camera to overlook my small back garden (5x15 metres) it's mainly to keep an eye on my koi pond and shed. I'd like it to have good image quality, night vision and be able to remotely log on with a phone or tablet.

Should I have an external camera or one placed in the bedroom window? Can't afford to spend more than £150 any recommendations?

It's a bit more than you budgeted (£186.99 on Amazon), but I personally use the Arlo system by Netgear at home.

Completely wireless, batteries last for months, weatherproof, footage gets uploaded to the cloud and you can remote view in realtime via a mobile device. Also has IR for night-time motion detection.

Mine's on a small tripod-style mount screwed outside to an upstairs window ledge.

Thanks Nismo, how would the UCam247-HDO1080 also on Amazon with lots of good reviews and for £159 compare?
