Hi, Basically time isn't a factor to me as I'm a student and I have access to 9.9/10 of all machinery available as I go to a Gym regularly. I've been going for 6 weeks now and i've gained 1st 2lbz. by training for 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. But the problem is, whenever I go to the Gym I'm unsure of what to do and when to do it, I just have a 'pick n mix' way of working out. SO, I'M ASKING WHAT'S A GOOD ROTOR / ROUTINE? I'M 5FT 5" AND LOOKING TO GAIN 2 STONE OVER 1 YEAR, AND ALSO, I WANT TO HAVE THE CLASSICAL, 8 PACK, LARGE PECKS AND MUSCULAR BUILD :D

WHAT IM CURRENTLY LOOKING LIKE :

Check the thread that a member called steedie started for penne gym rats. Starting strength is a good routine, google it. Also strong lifts 5x5 or even a proper 4 day split. Legs, back/bi's, shoulders/core/calves, chest/tris.
Check put the sticky and look for gordyR's beginners routine.

If you can't be bothered to do that at least start squatting, deadlifting, bench pressing and overhead pressing on your 4 out of 5 days in the gym.

Thanks kcon, looks a really structured checklist, I'll have to convert it into some kind of checklist format so I can take it to the gym so I know I'm sticking to a solid routine. :D

thank you, there are plenty of logs in there that show better progress then mine as well.

Check out the logs and just see the kinds of routines people are doing. I would assume your more in to your bodybuilding then strength? if so a couple of logs to check out would be Steedies and Monkee's.Also search the photo thread for Temi_D

Also you have made good progress in 6 weeks, but the main reason you have seen results is because your eating in a surplus and your training consistently. Your benefiting from a lovely thing called newbie gains, and young age at the minute. Switch to a proper routine and your progress will be even better!

@Kcon1, I gave the 'Starting Strength' routine a go, and I've gotta say, really gave me a sense of structure, not only that but it feels great to know that I've achieved set targets, I'll be using that for a while! Thanks a lot! :D

@Syla, Yep more to do with bodybuilding than strength and thanks for the feedback, with the new routine kcon1 has shown me I'll be sticking to it everytime I go to the Gym, and hopefully i'll be piling on the pounds and seeing real improvement in the areas I want to grow.
