Need a silent mouse and keyboard

I currently have a Saitek Cyborg V5 Illuminated Gaming Keyboard and a Logitech MX518 Gaming-Grade Optical Mouse. I am very happy with both unfortunately my missus is not as my pc is in the bedroom and it can disturb her when i'm having a frantic clicking session when playing HoN.

What i'd like are replacements with the same features (backlit keyboard, mulit button gaming mouse etc) but that are slient. Are there such things available? Don't want to spend over £100 for the pair.

I think you'll find that a bit difficult! I've never come across a mouse where the buttons don't click, and I suspect one might feel quite odd to use.

Hmm that's what i thought people would say. I'm struggling to find a keyboard to fit the bill let alone a mouse.

Short of getting an extension not possible at the moment unfortunately.

A chiclet keyboard is near silent but the mouse will be tricky.

Cheaper ones with low profiles tend to be near silent as well.

My Corsair M60 has soft touch buttons which are close to non-audible!!

Very nice keyboard, use it myself. Certainly is quiet in operation and was what I came in here to recommend.

That looks like it could do the job, not sure i like the ergonomics of it though.

I can see why you would say that, but it's honestly great. Smooth movement over the OCUK XL Gaming Mat, softtouch buttons and a solid feel. It's not as bad to use as you would think from what it looks like.

This is coming from someone who uses a Vertical Mouse 3 @ work and upgraded to the M60 from a Logitech MX Revolution.
