I webcam a lot over Skype and life would be much easier if I didn't have to sit at my computer desk to do it. I'm looking for something to carry round the house with me whilst I skype and for watching movies on whilt on long haul flights.
I've noticed that the latest generation of netbooks seem to mostly have webcams integrated. How do these perform with Skype? With a decent enough internet connection to hand, can these netbooks handle this comfortably?
The other use would be for watching movies. I'm not particular about HD playback or anything but can most of them handle it? How does battery life compare when watching movies or webcamming? Will I get the 6+ hours that some of them quote or will it drastically reduce?
Ideally I'd like to spend as close to £200 as possible but I'd stretch higher if it was worth it.
