lo all
So ive came here for some help/advice.
Basically I think my PSU has died.
Its been fine until about 2 weeks ago when it would randomally suddenly 'cut off' as if there was a power cut & all would go 'black'.
I can confirm all the power leads i have used & power surge work fine. Which leads me to think its something in the machine which is causing the problem.
Ive had the machine (Custom built) for about 6 months roughly now and had no issues and within the past 2 weeks no hardware changes. It used to boot up fine & randomally cut off when it wants to..idling/in the middle of an essay or a game..whenever it felt it would annoy me the most.
So last night i left it idling (which i always do) & when i woke up & came to it..it had cut off. I went to boot it up & it went then died after only afew seconds.
I kept booting it afew times & it soon died yet again...all at random times..didnt even get to the login screen.
I haven't tested the PSU on another machine yet but will do today.
So does it sound like my PSU?
Also if it does then suggestions on another PSU. SLI cerf etc..need a 500/600.
My current PSU is Seasonic S12 600

Edit - I have confirmed it is my PSU that has failed as it couldnt power up my other machine
So it has a 3 year warrenty. Is all i have is a booklet..no warrently card..How do i meant to claim for that? & Yes i kept everything. Although i can't find OCUK's invoice..but i don't need that.
I think im ****** with the warrenty as i have no warrenty card.
Suggestions on new PSU's?
