Need a solution

We have a remote office that has anything from 4 -10 people working from it at a time.

They are frequently accessing spreadsheets, word documents and one note (eugh!) documents from a server at head office over a vpn on ADSL aswell as research from the internet.

The office is in the middle of nowhere so bandwidth is pretty appaling and when you have more than a couple of people there pulling files down from the network or saving them back is a real pain.

What solutions are there to this issue, I've tried making DFS work but it's not working exactly how I expected, possibly a config issue but I'm wondering if there is a better solution?

TS is the easiest, a Riverbed type device if you want to be flash.

We've got a few of those riverbed units sat in our store waiting to be used, not had a play with anything like that before.

Not familiar with them, could you explain a bit

'WAN accelerators' iirc, think they cache data so when someone makes a request for some data at a remote site it pulls it off the cache rather than going over the wan. That's a rather crude explanation but think it's kind of what happens :p Not cheap though.
