for a client with budget of £150. tried to come up with a spec but very hard to keep to £150.

requirements are...

windows xp
case
dvd/rw

no keyboards or anything just tower.

Not do-able here I don't think. You'll have to try and find some parts secondhand or clearance/B grade stock. This is as close as I can get, you could drop to 1gb Ram but you only save about £8-10.
