Hello,

Firstly its my first Micro ATX build, to cut a long story short, I got the OcUK Phoenix 910 MicroATX, now this came with a 650w PSU, after a lot of help in another thread after I heard a buzzing coming from the PSU, I stuck an older 430 True Power PSU in instead, however, this has FAR to many connections, is quite old, and wasnt great quality at the time, and the wires are maddenig fitting it all in, my build is this...

AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 Black Edition "125W Edition" 3.20GHz
OCZ Reaper Low-Latency 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 12800C6 (1600MHz)
Gigabyte GA-880GM-UD2H AMD 880G (Socket AM3) microATX DDR3 Motherboard
OcUK Phoenix 910 MicroATX Case - Black (650W PSU)
x 2 - Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB SATA-II
Scythe Shuriken Rev.B Quiet Low Profile CPU Cooler.

So what would be the recommendation for a newer better one...ive seen some that you can remove a lot of teh cables/ power plugs as you need them.

Well apart from that was looking at somthing tht I could adjust the cables on, as the space confines are very very small.

Yeah but you paid for a 650W PSU - if it's faulty, shouldn't you be getting an RMA purely out of principle?

It's not what I would call faulty, its does power the machine, I just hear one of he coils or somthing making a very auditable high pitched wine, as its asked for more power, usually for loads on the CPU.
