Should I run my RAM at 1066 or 800mhz? My cpu is @ 200 or 400 mhz so would 1066 be pointless?
Need a techy help.

Well i do overclock from 200 to 400 FSB giving me 3.2Ghz I'm guessing I can't do 1066 anyways in oc for cpu. I have dominator 4gb ram should i lower the timings i never really messed with them don't know how i should set them. Thanks for all the help lads

But my CPU to RAM ratio is 1:1 with my RAM as DDR2-800?? *confused*

My cpu is Intel Q9450. I heard if the ram is faster than the FSB then you can't gain any more speed because the Ram is sending data faster than the CPU takes it and send it back so the RAM just has to wait for the CPU.
So if i'm using 533Mhz ram and 400mhz CPU the cpu would not catch up? I heard you need to overclock the CPU to 533Mhz but I'm not sure. I guess why not use the 1066 as you say but im not sure if it would slow down the system rather then speed up
