Need a "thinky" game!

I'm after a new game for my PS3, and want something that needs a bit of thought, and who's storyline you can get into. Games like Resistance 2 don't really do it for me. I much prefer things like Bioshock and MGS4 which are a bit "clever", or Mirror's Edge which are a bit different. Any suggestions?
 
Played Uncharted already - great game! Tomb Raider has never really appealed - probably because I never got on with the older ones, although they may be worth a go.

Is Fear2 worth a go? Never played the first Fear, but it looks pretty engrossing.

Is there a release date for the new Riddick game? Loved Escape from Butcher Bay!
 
I thought Dead Space had a pretty good story and was a great game to play, not sure if its very thinking though lol.
 
Hmm, maybe I'm misleading people by using thought as a specification; I don't necessarily mean that it needs thought to play it - I don't need a strategy game. What I maybe mean more is something really immersive, which has a storyline that drags you in and doesn't let go. I found Bioshock amazing, not because you could think loads about the gameplay, but because the storytelling was remarkable.
 
Dead Space is supposed to have a really engaging atmosphere, are the zero-mavity puzzles any fun to play?

Also I read The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena will be released on the 24th April.
