NEED a very insecure browser

A friend has business dealings with a website which has unsigned activex and loads of other security bugs.
He trusts the people behind the site but unfortunately IE7, Firefox or chrome don't and will refuse to load the activex controls for uploading pictures.

I've disabled and lowered all activex controls in IE7 but the websites still not doing what its supposed to and what it did under IE6 also with security turned off.

Now he has VISTA and forced to use IE7 so what are the options?

You could try a really old version of any of the more popular browsers? FF, Opera..

The only browser that'll run ActiveX is IE.

Has he tried with UAC off?

IE5.5 / 6 in a virtual machine. Revert to snapshot every time it reboots. Safest way.
