hey guys,

i want some advice on what i should do and what i can do about my RMA.

so i sent my gigabyte HD 7990 back to OCUK on the 12th of August via TNT next day, so my RMA started on the 13th, its now the 11th of September and i still have nothing back about it, not only that, the card was 10 months old when it failed.

so the 28 day period expires on the 22nd of September, so what normally happens in this situation? if i still dont have anything returned back to me by this time what happens?

what am i entitled to?

thank you

Phone up Ocuk or place a note in the customer section.

I had to send my 4870x2 back a few years ago now and has to 2 months and got a full refund.

(Is the month right - almost a year?)

i have done a few times but still dont get anything, so do i get a full refund if i dont have anything with me within those 28 days?

Not really, Ocuk will test the card and if they confirm it is faulty then they will send it to Gigabyte for repair or replace with a equivalent model.

I would speak with Ocuk again, 11 months is a long time.

oh no i had the card for 10months then it failed, Ocuk tested it and confirmed it was faulty and sent ti back to gigabyte, since then i have not heard a thing and Ocuk dont seem to know anything either.

but as the 28 day period is nearly up, i want to know what will happen and what i can expect :)

lol :D

bailey is aware of this as i spoke to him today about it, i just was not sur what would happen if i dont get a replacement within the 28 day bracket

I am not sure what the 28 day turn around is, the RMA number I think is valid for 28 days :p

My RMA replacement took 2 months with XFX - But this was 3 years ago.
