Need advice about Vertical Mounting GPU.

Hi,

I am planning to mount my Red Devil LE 6800xt vertically using the stock mount in my Corsair 4000D. What are your thoughts about it? I am kind of worried about my gpu choking because of it being too close to the side panel even though I have a good ventilation for my pc. Should I buy a vertical mount bracket as soon as possible before all my other parts arrived or I'll be fine without it?
 
Looking at a picture of the back of the case, it looks like you'll have very little airflow if the card is mounted upright. The upright mount point in most cases seems to be really designed for fluid cooling solutions.

what about if I bought a vertical mount bracket instead?
