Need advice, cheap office PC

I am specing up a fairly basic PC for just general office use (word, excel, internet explorer, etc) and have everything sorted bar the CPU.

Its between the..

AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ 2.00GHz (Socket AM2) - Retail

The system will be running Vista Home Premium with 1GB memory so basically what would I be better off with? 2 Cores at 2GHz or 1 core at 2.4GHz?

Would vista make use of both the cores?

For 'General Office' use, Dual-Core will be better than more RAM, i.e. you'll get better multi-tasking
