Hi guys
My old rig is P4(Prescott)2.8Ghz Asrock P4Dual-880PRO with 2GB of RAM Sapphire X800GTO2 256RAM running max on 520Mhz(GPU) and 1160MHz(RAM) Maxtor MaxlineIII 250GB SATA Creative SB Audigy 4 and Antec TrueControl 550W.

I decided to build a PC with E6300. It is for gaming and other stuff. I think I will go for a Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3 and GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2.
I will leave my old Sapphire X800GTO2 graphic card (will wait for directX10 card :D ).
I don't know which cpu cooler to choose- I red lot of reviews and seems that Thermaltake Big Typhoon 4 in 1 Heatpipe is the quietest one. The only thing is weight. Is it OK for motherboard?
I have about £400-£500 budget.
All advice is highly appreciated

P.S. Sorry for my English

Welcome to the forums, must have been a long time lurker. :p :D

Im going for the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 pro when i get my Conroe next week as its highly rated, as is the Scythe Ninja Rev. B, very quiet also. :)

Another vote here for the Freezer Pro 7. I've got one on my E6400 and the temp is only about 5C above ambient (not overclocked).

got the arctic freezer pro very good ;) temps spot on and nice and quiet.

Thanks for all of You. I see You have same mobo as I wish to buy  . What will be the diference in games for E6300 if I would buy GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 not a 2GB PC6400 800MHz Ultra Low Latency as Yours  .

The 6400 will allow higher clocks.

Really you should get 6400 and not have this limitation.

Does it worth to pay extra £70 for better performance?
What difference in performance would be( approximately) between E6300 with GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC5300 667MHz Value DDR2 Dual Channel Kit and E6400 with GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit.
