Hey folks so basically im looking into purchasing a Aorus B550 Elite for my new CPU when they release and it has 2 M.2 Slots I've just managed to get another 960 EVO 500gb for 60 quid because the prices for a 1TB PCI-E 4.0 drive are above my budget my question is do I run the 2 drives in Raid 0 to get PCI-E 4.0 speeds and for the 2 drives to be showned as one also I was thinking about running 2 1TB WD blue HD's I have in Raid 1 for the stuff I can't afford to lose I.e Pictures/Videos etc?

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Do you have a specific need for the extra performance? If not then don't bother, you wont notice the benefit for day to day use / gaming and raid 0 is a pita if something goes wrong.

Normal usage, gaming loading windows m2 pcie3 to pcie4 there's is no real difference in performance.

The speed of the m2 pcie4 is useful when moving files from one pci4 drive to another pvie4 drive.

Turns out i have less than 30gb of important files anyway so guess I'm just run them as separate drives and put Cyberpunk and the new Cod on the second drive.
