I have been holding out for a while to upgrade to an LCD screen. Mainly because I wanted to wait to build a new computer (which will happen during xmas time) and because of all the bad things I've been hearing when it comes to gaming.
My current monitor is an Iiyama 22" CRT which I've had for the past 5 years. My resolution is 1600x1200 so I'm looking to buy a monitor that has 1920x1200 native resolution. That way I won't lose any screen estate. My uses are mild gaming (WoW, occasional FPS), browsing and watching movies. I prefer something bigger than 24" so I'm looking for a 25-28" monitor (I think 30" would be an overkill). Budget is around €500.
