i have a 3.8 x2 and a 1800 xt 512mb.

Now i need a mobo , some memory psu and an external hd for around 300

is this possible ? ive lost touch with prices and stuff

I upgraded recently, and got those parts you mentioned:


2GB OCZ 3200 - £150 new

Asus A8N-SLi premium - £30 (2nd hand)

480W Tagan - £60 new

300GB Maxtor external - £70 new


Thats roughly £300 so yes its possible. Maybe pick up 1 or 2 second hand parts from the MM (once you have access )
