Just bought an Abit AN-M2HD Mobo and it has an HDMI and VGA connection on it. Thing is, my TFT has DVI but the cable is hard fixed into the tft. The mobo came with an HDMI to DVI convertor but i presume that is to fix into a TFT that does not have a fixed cable! I hate not having DVI as i can see the difference. Now, is there an adapter available for me to get around this, i.e, Male DVI to male DVI or if i was to buy a new TFT (Thinking of going 19" WS) Do most of them come with removeable cables? Samsung i am interested in.

Thanks for any help.

Yes they cost about a tenner.

However you must be using onbaord graphics. I;d seriously consider getting a stand aolne gfx card. Anything is better than onbaord graphics.

all modern tft's AFIK come with detachable cables and if you do get a 19" ws you will need something better than your onboard gfx anyway

Ok. So, if i put in a separate Graphics card the Onboard will disable itself or do i need to go in the bios to disable it? I could not find that in the bios you see.
