Im a bit of a network noob so here is my problem.
Im getting a second PC in my room soon but only have one cable coming from my router (downstairs) up through the walls into my room. Putting in another wire is out of thw question at least for now as it would mean pulling up floors etc.
So can i split the one connection in my room using a switch (like this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-099-NG&groupid=46&catid=419&subcat=) or even another router and then have two cables from that into both PC's?
