Well it all started with my power button as it stopped working so i bought the new flex cable to fix it so took the phone apart and everything went well.
then began putting the phone back together and on the screen you have 3 cables coming off to connect to the motherboard i've crushed around 6/8 silver pins on the bigger cable and now the right side of my screen (4th column of apps) doesn't work at all so i can't press 'send' on messages etc or anything on the right side but i can still see what's there on the screen just won't let me press it, i know it's sounds a nooby question but before i go buy a new screen i just want to confirm that it is the 6/8 silver pins that i've damaged is causing the problem
