Hi Guys

I setup my new Gaming PC before Xmas and I love it. The Kraken X62 has lovely RGB options along with my Graphics card. It really needs LED lighting to bring it out to it's best. The problem is that I don't know what to buy.

I have a Phanteks Enthoo Primo Full Tower Case and I would like an LED strip where I can control the colours, so I guess a controller comes into this as well. I've had a look at this https://www.overclockers.co.uk/phanteks-multicolor-magnetic-rgb-led-strip-1-metre-ca-006-pt.html but it doesn't say my case model being compatible.

Any advice on what would work? Total newb at this and feel like my first good looking case deserves light to show her off

What motherboard do you have?

That strip isn't compatible with the Enthoo Primo.

But it might be compatible with certain motherboards that do support RGB like the Asus Rampage Edition 10

Ahhh ok, got ya!

I've got a Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Designare Motherboard. Just had a look at the manual and it says it has an LED_C (RGB Led Strip Cable Header)- connect standard 5050RGB LED Strip (12V) - max 2A and max 2m length

What length of LED strip do most people get? Is 1m long enough?
Thanks

Just grab a 2m 5050 RGB strip I say. Primo is a big case and you can cut these strips down to size if need be fairly easy, usually every 3 leds you can cut a segment.
