Need advice on a Compact Camera

Just got a refund on my Canon Ixus 750 and I'm wondering what other camera's in this class are recommended? I wasn't very impressed with the 750 if I was honest. a lot of out of focus pictures and slow. I run a 20D DSLR.

Any help would be appreciated
