So after using a dell Xps 17 so over a year now, I've decided i never use my laptop for its mobility so im going to get a desktop.
From looking around on here a lot this is what ive come up with so far.
I would Just like advice for if i should get anything better or if it wouldn't work etc.
Im tempted to go for the 7950 gpu as i will use this for gaming at 1980x1080. Price is quite stretchable but sticking around 700 would be nice unless something is defiantly needed.

1 x Z77 Gamer Intel Core i5 3570K 3.40GHz @ 4.50GHz DDR3 Ivybridge Overclocked Bundle
1 x Gigabyte ATI Radeon HD 7850 OC Windforce 2X 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
1 x Cooler Master GX Lite 600W '80 Plus' Power Supply
1 x BitFenix Merc Beta Gaming Case - Black
also with standard things like Disc drive and Hard drive totals in at £675 including wifi card etc.

lol! you're right! it actually is =o

7950 is about 20-25% faster than the 7850. depends on how long you wanna keep the rig i suppose

Ok so i can just put the bundle in to your choices and that would work?
and im very tempted because 25% is quite a lot faster.

Also whats the difference with the GPU being *B* grade ?

b-grade means its a return/damaged box/missing some accessories.
but because the gpu is a gigabyte, they deal with serial numbers on warranties, so the fact its a b-grade doesnt mean jack, warranty-wise
aka good deal

ok well from those numbers i cant really resist the upgrade :)
last question then, since ill be getting the 7950 and with the cpu being overclocked willl heat be an issue ? do i need to get a better cooling system or anything or will the system you recommended suffice ?

thanks again for answering all my questions.

just fyi, i didnt make it clear in the last post, i meant the 260 quid b-grade 7970 ghz edition (still gigabyte, so warranty shouldnt be a problem)

and yea, once you go ssd, you'll never go back. ever.

ye i found that one :) right well the system seems all good, thanks for you help.
now to buy and build it :D
