Hey all,

I'm planning on gaming for PC and currently saving up for a decent PC.

I want to put this Graphics card in it - Palit GeForce GTX 580 1536MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £349.99

Will it be able to go dual screen and is it any good?

Thanks!

(I know they're probably stupid questions, but I don't know much)

The 580 (aside from dual GPU's) is about as good as it gets at the moment and will do dual screen no problem. If you are looking at that sort of card I take it you have have a nice healthy budget for the whole build?

Will do dual screen fine depending on resolution. Assuming its mostly for gaming, won't you mind the monitor bezels right down the middle of the screen.

And as the above poster, make sure its a balanced system.

this post made me laugh yes your card can power 2 monitors but it would personally drive me insane seeing a monitor bezel running through the middle while playing a FPS

If you are getting a graphic card, I would say you best avoid getting the Palit brand, as they don't have a UK base, so you most likely have to send the card to Germany if you ever have to RMA to them.

Personally I would (and I think most people would) go for MSI, Gigabyte, Asus...
