What do you guys think? Would this system work nicely? Ideally I want something that will last me for a while and be easily upgradeable..

Any comments & suggestions would be really appreicated! :)

nice spec :) the only thing i would change is yoru hardrive. i would get 2 smaller drives instead of one large put windows and programs and games on 1 and use other for storage.

how ever i did notice the samsung spinpoint 500gb on special this week at 109. anyone any thoughts on that drive ?

ill asume your going to be playing games on a spec like that
(it being all pirtty and all)
but i would recommend the next soundcard up from the one u have listed the music version doesnt have the "64mX-RAM" that the extream gamer fatlaity does and its about the same price i payed £93 for mine. They really rock out, works perfectly on everything and gives me a bit smoother gameplay aswell (2142 , dawn of war dark crusade, jedi acadimy) ;)

nice rig though, *green eyes*

(*spelling*) my soz'z

Would I be mad to swap the Asus P5B Motherboard for :

EVGA nForce 680 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard

???
Starting to prefer this one now....

Nice spec :)

As well as getting 2 HDDs I would reommend getting a different fan those standard blues are loud, either look at getting a Ambers instead or consider running the blues at a lower voltage.
