and can any recommend an after market cooler for the cpu that will 100% fit in aswell.

Yes, I think that it will all work. It would certainly be anomalous if it didn't.

Dose the NT06 really work without a fan? I’m planning on using it with a Quad Pro Q6600. Will it provide anywhere near the necessary cooling at full load?

Does something like the Zalman CNPS7500 fit and would it provide better cooling.
