Building a midrange rig to house an e6400,2gig team 6400, x1900xt, 500gig samsung etc..

Have decided on the PC7 to house it and just have a couple of queries.

1. It's going on a wooden table. Are there rubber feet on this case to help vibration. If not, is it easy to slap 4 of those acoustifeet on.

2. Does the PC7 (silver one) ocuk sell usually come with the side fan for the gpu ?

3. Can I fit an 8800GTX in there. I take it no, as the hdd tray is not removable.

4. I was planning on putting an Accelero X2 on the 1900xt-x. Was thinking the case might not close then, as 1. the accelero is a very tall cooler making the door a tight fit and/or 2. the gpu fan might get in the way. Would the zalman be a better option.

thanks

Excellent. It's the pc7 for me then. Just saw that thread about compatible cases and it mentioned the 8800gtx will fit but you won't be able to get a drive into the bay, so said I would ask. But it sounds like it will fit from what you guys are saying. I want a nice case, not too big (like the eclipse), that will fit on a cramped desk, and can be quiet. Actually had a version of the PC7 before and found it pretty good. The bezel was so easy to get off for cleaning the front fan, unlike the eclipse. Couldn't fault it really. I also shortlisted the Antec Solo but it definitely will not take a g80, and I also considered the Antec 900 for 2 seconds :) So it's the PC7.

Sold most of my components for financial reasons.

The rig I will end up with should be decent enough

Samsung 500gig SATA2 16meg cache
Samsung 18x SATA DVDRW
880GTX (hopefully), but I also have a 1900xt-x

Cheers mate.
I assume the feet came with attachments or you made a hole in them and used the lugs. Sorry for being dense.

<doh>..they are adhesive obviously </doh>

Last question and hoping you know this.

The Eclipse I have barely takes the tuniq tower with the longest side facing the rear exhaust fan. What happens is because the cpu socket on my mobo is placed so high, the tuniq overhangs the mobo and rubs off bottom of psu. (no 120mm fan in current psu).

What I need to know is the distance between the top of the LianLi mobo tray and where the 120mm fan would be in the psu bay. I'd say I would need an inch of space. Otherwise the tuniq may not fit or could be possibly flush with the 120mm psu fan. This is bad over it blocking airflow. Other alternative is to turn tuniq around, but then the tuniq fan will be blowing hot air towards the psu fan. Not good either.

Or I could get an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro or Scythe Ninja :)

thanks
