Hello,

I'm in the process of drawing up the hardware list of a new PC i'm planning to build in a few weeks.

Case:
Thermaltake BLACK KANDALF CASE LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM

Mobo:
Asustek S775 Intel X38 ATX Audio Lan

CPU:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz OEM

RAM:
G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PQ PC2-8000C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-8000CL5D-4GBPQ)

Hard Drives:
Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (ST3500320AS)

PSU:
Seasonic M12 Modular 700W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply

For the moment I'm leaving the graphics card out of the equation.

Bassically I just need some advice before committing my money towards this build. I'm primarily a composer so a fast computer with a lot of RAM is essential for my DAW and sample libraries. Also a computer that runs quietly and at best silently :)

Also any suggestions for a PSU? I plan on getting a high end Geforce 8800 in the future in the future and would like the capacity for SLI.

Any help or advice would be great

Many Thanks

Thanks for the advice :)

I've read as many reviews of the case as I can get hold of and the only downside that was brought up was the case's weight. Performance tests with the wastercooling gave good results results .

Any more advice is greatly appreciated :)

Thats great, many thanks for the point in the direction :)

I'm not 100% sure about my Mobo, anyone offer any advice? At the moment I'm torn between the Asus P5N-T Deluxe nForce 780i (Socket 775) and the Asus Striker II Formula nForce 780i (Socket 775), or can any offer advice on a better Mobo?

Many Thanks
